Holly Barker, a sophomore at Laguna Hills High in California, repeated as champion of the girls 3-mile sweepstakes race at the Orange County Cross Country Championships at Oak Canyon Park in Silverado, Calif. Barker clocked 16:51.6 to establish a record on the new layout and became the first female athlete to repeat as champion since Haley Herberg of Capistrano Valley secured back-to-back individual titles in 2016-17.
